I see Djokovic was using medical time outs towards the end in a cynical way but there was no stopping the Stan.
You have to admire the way he has dealt with being in the shadow of Federer and now has 3 of the 4 grand slam titles. Level on 3 titles with Murray now except he has won every final he has been in I believe.

No great fan of Stan, but good result for tennis this.
Djokovic clearly struggling with his wrist in the match as well, so who knows, maybe this will haunt him like Nadal's knees have for the rest of his career, as surely no worse injury for a tennis player.
Come on Andy!

Pleased to see this this morning, I don't want Djok beating Federer's grand slam record.

This could end up being the easiest money I have ever won on a longish term sporting bet.
£25 on Djokovic at 5/4 with a free fiver bet for each match win (x 6 so far) including games where opponents pulled out injured and this literally the only decent bloke he's played.

2nd match running the nip is getting away with the volley and serve, as all Stan and latest before him are doing is putting it right in the middle where its easy pickings.
Fair play to him, should be getting punished doing the same thing every other point, but they're not playing well enough for him to give it up.

really not liking stan over playing the backhand, really needs to mix it up more than this or it could be over very quick

Surprised Stan is the outsider. Going to back him.

I like nishikori but he doesn't have the power stan does, he has to play bad to lose

The slag Novak fucking up means my betting for the weekend is done, so Stan is the way to go with me not on it as I refuse to deposit any more.
Already on arsenal, spurs and us at 7's to save the weekend!

Perhaps I spoke to soon.
I'd be wary of backing Wawrinka on account of that fact that I have though, chaps.

Think wawrinka 3-0 is quite big at 5's, so will stick a fiver of these winnings on that if Djokovic does win 3-0.

Paddy powers enhanced 6/4 for Novak to win 3-0 is looking potentially decent at the moment.
